The Berkeley Startup Cluster

The Berkeley Startup Cluster is operated by a steering committee comprised of representatives from each of the collaborating groups: the City of Berkeley, the Downtown Berkeley Association, the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, and UC Berkeley. While focused on technology-oriented startups, the Berkeley Startup Cluster also encompasses tech-oriented established companies — as these companies are effectively brand name, anchor tenants of the BSC.

The Maritime Alliance

Founded in 2007, The Maritime Alliance (TMA) organizes the San Diego maritime technology community – the largest concentrated BlueTech cluster in the U.S.  It focuses on: Economic Development, Ecosystem Development, and National/International Outreach.  TMA is collaborative – as examples, it is signatory to the first international coalition of maritime technology clusters; it works with over 60 local partners to promote OceanSTEM in SD County

The Maritime Alliance Foundation (TMA Foundation)
