Maine Sustainable Agriculture Society

The mission of the Maine Sustainable Agriculture Society (MESAS) is to to explore, develop and promote agricultural systems and practices that allow Maine farmers to retain a greater share of consumer expenditures for farm products. This is accomplished by developing methods to reduce the need for purchased inputs and by adding value to farm production.

Marine Industries Science & Technology Cluster

The Marine Industries Science & Technology (MIST) Cluster is a regional group of organizations involved in the development and operation of applied technology applications for operating in, working around, and/or monitoring marine and coastal environments. These organizations (Large and small businesses, federal, state & local agencies, universities, and nonprofits) through their applied technology efforts support other regional related marine industries which include: Commercial and recreational fishing, Shipbuilding, Aqua-Mariculture, Oil & Gas and Energy, Port & Harbor Operations, Shipping, Environmental Restoration and Recovery, and others. The MIST Cluster is supported in part by a U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Regional Innovation Cluster contract. SBA's funding is not an endorsement of any products, opinions, or services.  All SBA funded programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
