St. Louis Information Technology Entrepreneur Network

Southwest Missouri Council of Governments

The Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) is a voluntary association of local governments in the ten-county area of southwest Missouri. For many communities in the southwest Missouri region, the need for planning services is great since many towns and counties do not have professional planning resources, yet are facing many significant development issues. Through membership in SMCOG, such communities have access and facilities that would otherwise be unavailable.

Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission

The Southeast Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission offers planning and economic development services to it's seven member counties of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Iron, Madison, Perry, St. Francois, and Ste. Genevieve and the municipalities within.

South Central Ozark Council of Governments

The mission of the South Central Ozark Council of Governments is to promote human resources, educational opportunities and economic development in order to enhance the quality of life for the region’s inhabitants.  The organization strives to accomplish these objectives by:
Providing professional staff assistance to local governments and organizations in the region.
Serving as an advocate for the South Central Region before federal, state, and local government agencies and other organizations that influence or affect public policy.

Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission

The Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission (PTRPC) was created by the Regional Planning and Community Development Act of 1966. The PTRPC is comprised of local units of government within Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline counties. Since its inception, the Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission has provided professional planning services and technical assistance to its members through community-based planning efforts, regional collaboration, cooperation and coordination between the public and private sectors, and the pursuit of economic development opportunities.

Ozark Foothills Region

The Ozark Foothills Region consists of five counties — Butler, Carter, Reynolds, Ripley and Wayne — and 16 cities located in scenic southeast Missouri. Within the Ozark Foothills region, the area council of governments and the Ozark Foothills Regional Planning Commission assist new and expanding businesses in workforce and pro-business community leadership.

Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments

The Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments (NWMORCOG) is one of 20 regional planning commissions in Missouri. It offers a variety of programming, products and services, both on the municipal and regional level, to its member governments, serving 40 towns in Atchison, Holt, Gentry, Nodaway, and Worth Counties in northwest Missouri.

Mo-Kan

Mo-Kan is a designated regional planning commission (RPC) and economic development district (EDD), recognized by the states of Kansas and Missouri and the federal government. We provide community and economic development services to 36 municipalities and six counties in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Our region consists of Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and DeKalb counties in Missouri and Atchison and Doniphan counties in Kansas. Additionally, Mo-Kan provides business development and financing services across the entire state of Missouri and all of northeast Kansas.
