The Cluster for Unmanned Vehicles and Robotics (CUVR) is a grass-roots, member-driven, Technology Based Economic Development Organization (TB/EDO) focusing on the unmanned vehicles and robotics markets. CUVR supports all forms of locomotion including ground, air and marine vehicles coupled with a broad spectrum of robotic initiatives including medical, military, personal, industrial and consumer applications. Working closely with industry, CUVR provides its members with well-defined integrated business opportunities that meet an existing economic demand.
A non-profit consortium launched and supported by Mass Insight Global Partnerships, the Advanced Cyber Security Center (ACSC) brings together industry, university, and government partners to address the most advanced cyber threats. We focus on sharing cyber threat information, engaging in next-generation cybersecurity research and development, and creating education programs that will address the shortfall in cyber talent. Our goal is to help establish New England as a major region for cybersecurity research and development, education, and thought leadership.
The Berkeley Startup Cluster is operated by a steering committee comprised of representatives from each of the collaborating groups: the City of Berkeley, the Downtown Berkeley Association, the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, and UC Berkeley. While focused on technology-oriented startups, the Berkeley Startup Cluster also encompasses tech-oriented established companies — as these companies are effectively brand name, anchor tenants of the BSC. In addition to giving credibility to the BSC, these established companies provide the funding that supports the BSC community-building events.

The AM-TEC initiative provides a broad range of targeted economic development assistance to small, medium, and large manufacturers and suppliers of thermal and environmental control (TEC) equipment in Central New York. The initiative helps companies reduce costs and increase revenue through the creation and maintenance of a capable workforce and the development of new products through innovation, research, workforce, and business development services.
Agile Innovation in Manufacturing (AIM) is a joint initiative that provides services to address the needs of Pittsburgh’s three significant industries 1) Energy, 2) Life Sciences, and 3) Advanced Electronics, in regards to the development of industry-specific innovative technologies through metal manufacturing and electrical equipment solutions.

Roane State Community College received $1.64 million grant that will fund several initiatives designed to promote the growth of the composites industry in East Tennessee. The grant was awarded as part of a $37 million Jobs & Innovation Accelerator Challenge, a multi-agency competition to support the advancement of 20- high-growth, regional industry clusters. Roane State's grant targeted composites, with a focus on low-cost carbon fiber technology.
InnoState is a three-year AMJIAC project seeking New Product Contract Manufacturing (NPCM) companies located in Southeast Michigan in order to assist with the improvement of product launch performance and connect companies with prospective customers. NPCMs are companies that execute the launch of new manufactured products, on behalf of customers who own the brand and intellectual property on the products.
